Dr. Laura Carey is a professor at Sheffield Hallam University in England. Previously she served as a Performance Psychologist at the “Sportscotland Institute of Sport”.
Dr. Carey’s expertise is in exploring perceptual-cognitive expertise, gaze behaviors, and mobile cognition in elite golfers.
Dr Laura Carey is a HCPC registered Sport and Exercise Psychologist and has spent over 12 years working in elite sport and has attended a number of major sporting events. Laura is currently lecturing in Sport and Exercise Psychology at Sheffield Hallam University and is a Supervisor and Assessor on the HCPC training pathway routes. Laura's main research interests lie in perceptual expertise with a specific focus on using eye tracker and Electroencephalogram (EEG) technology.
